Men’s and Boys’ Knitted Dress Shirt Fabrics1
This standard is issued under the fixed designation D 4119; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year of
original adoption or, in the case of revision, the year of the last revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. A
superscript epsilon (e) indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.
1.1 This performance specification covers knitted fabrics
comprised of any textile fiber or a mixture of fibers, used in
men’s and boy’s dress shirts.
1.2 This performance specification is not applicable to
knitted fabrics used for interlinings.
1.3 These requirements apply to both the length and width
directions for those properties where fabric direction is pertinent.
